 3D Holographic Armor
As some of you know, I have a couple of Hot Toys figures, which are a little pricey but well worth the investment. Well, there's a store in Hong Kong called Secret Base, an official distributor of Hot Toys and they have a display of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark in the Armor Vault and all of his Armor is projected on to him with a 3d Holographic Projector....awesome.

That is amazing

I wonder how big that display is; I can't tell. I remember seeing those holograms used in Star Wars and thought it was complete science fiction, but it turns out holography has been around since the early sixties. According to wiki:
"The development of the laser enabled the first practical optical holograms that recorded 3D objects to be made in 1962 by Yuri Denisyuk in the Soviet Union[5] and by Emmett Leith and Juris Upatnieks at the University of Michigan, USA".

Thanks for the video...all I can say is incredible how that looks. I wish they filmed for all sides so I could see what it looks like from the side.

I'm sure the store was pretty crowded, that's why he didn't get all of the angles.
