Due to licensing issues with TOHO Studios. Rhino Entertainment has been forced to pull The Mystery Science Theater 3000 Collection, Vol. 10 from the shelves. They subsequently replaced the film with The Giant Gila Monster. You can still find the set on eBay and Amazon if you want to pay $200+ for it. Personally, I wouldn't pay that much for it. I just got it from Netflix and converted it to Apple TV MP4 format.

Regretfully, Sandy Frank will not sign off on any MST3K DVD's that have the films he was involved in (the Gamera films, Time of the Apes ETC...)

I saw Godzilla Vs. Megalon at the drive-in in 1975 with my best friend (who was also a CDF nut). It was a double billing with The Giant Spider Invasion....I remember my jaw dropping in horror when I saw what they did to the Godzilla costume. (This was the first time I saw the "puppy- dog" Godzilla face they used for several films in the 70's). It bothered me so much, I couldn't enjoy the film. I think I liked the giant spider movie more. What a let down...

there's a story that he faked a heart attack on a flight just to get it re-routed.
that was a bad bad godzilla flick.
i think mechagodzilla was after that. i like that one. its fun and the score is cool.
