 Help with a movie
First let me say this board and the page that brought me here are awesome! I grew up in Philly watching CDF in the mid to late 70s. My husband grew up near East Stroudsburg, PA and he watched CDF too (probably picked up a Philly station). There is a movie I remember watching and I can only assume it was on CDF but I could be wrong. I saw it about 1976-1979. I remember it was black and white and there was a man who dragged himself around (legless) on a wooden board with wheels. It may have had a castle in it because I remember rock/cement type walls when he dragged himself around. This movie gave me nightmares for many years haha! I have talked to a few friends who gave me suggestions, but they were not the movie. Any help would be appreciated :)

Thanks in advance

Hello and welcome LBurger71.
Are there any more details you can share? The gang here is usually pretty good at digging up the old flicks, just give them some time...

On the subject of CDF in the Philly area, did it have the same intro as the Boston area one:

Have you checked the CDF list to see if any names ring a bell:

I searched several sites for the plot you gave and variations and came away with a big goose egg.

Hate to say it, but I'm drawing a blank too. Beastball, didn't you say you have a movie encyclopedia-type thing? Maybe you can find this one in there?

Oh well, we'll all be eaten by Zigra sooner or later.

How about House of the Damned? It was made in 1963, is B&W, and has both a gothic mansion and a legless man:
