 Re: King Conan
i'm a big fan of the first one.

hope this is good.

i've read all the original robert e howard stories and the one conan novel he wrote. too bad they aren't basing the movie on that as it takes place when he's been a king for years.

 Re: King Conan
I loved the first one as well astroal and always wanted a King Conan movie.

This is one of the many cool but too gory movies that as a pre-teen my dad probably shouldn't have taken me to see (but so glad he did!)
Some other late 70s to early 80s flicks we saw were Alien (twice, 2nd time at the Seekonk Twin drive-in!)
The Shining (Westport Drive-In)
The Blues Brothers (I tape-recorded the whole movie off the metal speaker at the Seekonk Twin Drive-In)
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Howling
The Thing
The last time we went to the drive-in together as a family I think we saw The Last Starfighter and Back to the Future but I don't remember where.

Sorry about the mostly unrelated reply but this topic made me nostalgic.
