ok i know usually we look for help with cdf flicks but i thought i would ask about this flick here because it aired at night on 56 during the cdf daze.

sometimes 56 would run themed movie weeks as i recall. sometimes they would do kung fu weeks. one night i caught the end of one of these movies and two guys (just two) fought non stop for what seemed like 20 minutes. the fight started on a train and they got off and it just kept going from there. i think one of the guys was a cop. it was a crazy fight and i could remember thinking i had no idea if the good guy would win or not as the battle raged on.

ok i know not lots of details but any ideas? suggestions?

Not really. Unfortunately what you mentioned describes about 90% of the martial arts movies I remember watching as a kid . Of course the train factor sets it apart. That, and the possibility that one of the guys was a cop, will probably be the key to finding out what the movie was.

I do remember when channel 56 would show these movies on Saturday afternoons (sometimes before or after a CDF-type movie). I also remember channel 27 playing these late at night in the early 90s.

sorry i know it's not much to go on. i think it was on at night. i seem to remember that 56 would sometimes have theme movie weeks and if i remember right one week was kung fu movies and it was show then if i'm not mistaken.

I know how tough it can be when you want to find out what something is, but your memories of it are just too vague to prvide many clues. And of course, being a martial arts movie rather than a CDF-type flick makes it that much more difficult... Hopefully it will ring a bell with someone!
