Here's something fun. A friend showed me this site a while back and I recently re-discovered it. Thought it would be something that fellow CDFers would enjoy.
Back in the early 70's Topps released a set of stickers, sold in packs, called Monster Initial Stickers. Each letter had cartoon pictures of monsters inside of it. I don't seem to recall these specifically, but they DO seem familiar for some reason. I was only 5 in 1974, so if I did see these stickers it was probably because my older brother had some of them (and possibly stuck them up around the house in places where he shouldn't have). Another thing that makes them look familiar is the fact that the artwork looks similar to the great Topps Wacky Packages stickers.
Anyway, I guess these stickers are pretty hard to come by nowadays. This site has put the original sticker designs into one of those word generator programs, and the result is pretty fun and cool (in my humble opinion). Check it out. You can save the stuff you generate to a memory device and use them for whatever you might want to in the future. My first thought is to use some of these for homemade DVD covers of neat CDF-type movies that I might get from the web. The kind of stuff that you really enjoy, but wish you had some kind of decent artwork for the cover of it. Same goes for horror/sci-fi soundtracks downloaded from the net.
Here it is. Enjoy:
