 My Next Computer
After 3 years, I have decided to switch back to PC from Mac. I am happy with Mac however I am somewhat disappointed with either the lack of software or the price of Mac software or its limitations (iMovie in particular-tends to be too geared toward fancy home movies and not more elaborate video productions)

So I have decide to buy a Sony Vaio VPCL137FX/R

Specifications:
24in HD Touchscreen Display
Windows 7 Home Premium Edition
1TB 7200 rpm Serial SATA Hard Drive
2.66 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Quad-Core Processor
8Gb DDR2 Memory
Built in Webcam (similar to iMac)
Blu-Ray Drive/Player (Something Mac does not support)
Blu-Ray Drive also burns the following disc formats

(It burns ALL Disc formats)

BD-R DL Read : 6x max
BD-R Read : 6x max
BD-R Read / Write :
BD-RE DL Read : 4x max
BD-RE Read : 4x max
BD-ROM Read : 6x max
Blu-ray Disc™ Support : Read (BD-ROM)
CD Support : Read / Write (CD/-R/-RW)
DVD Support : Read / Write (DVD±R/±RW/±R DL/-RAM)

PRICE: $1999.99

Hey, welcome back to the dark side!

Seriously, it looks impressive though I'm wary of touch screens. Never owned one, but they seem to invite scratches, finger prints, smudges etc.
Man, BD player AND burner. It doesn't seem too long ago when DVD burners were cutting edge.

Hope you have nothing but the best of luck with your new toy!

Thanks, the real test will come when I return from California, with all the HD Sea World footage
