Whoa, those wax figures are fantastic!
So cool to have Captain Picard as your right hand man....but who's that guy standing on your left?
Seriously, William Shatner's likeness is probably THE toughest to recreate be it drawn or action figure. I've yet to see one that looks like him.

Thanks for posting these shots; never knew Godzilla even had a star on the Walk of Fame (or that he would even qualify). Are there stars for King Kong, Dracula, or other non-genre fictional characters? I assumed the stars were for real people only.

Godzilla received his star in 2004 during the release of Godzilla: Final Wars

Here is a close up, the molds they use are taken directly from the celebrity's face.

Glad you were able to have some fun on the trip. Thanks for sharing the photos. I had never really thought of the William Shatner thing. He does look a bit off (and I don't think it's just because of the hair either  ).

I know everyone ages and changes over time (I'm no exception), but it's kind of amazing to see just how different William Shatner looked from the original series to the movies (especially the later ones).

No, I'm not a wax figure, but I do share at least one trait with Mr. Shatner: as I am getting older I'm becoming more and more folically-challanged. Wonder if I should go with a Shat rug? ...No, probably not.

The Elvira figure was at the Hollywood Wax Museum, and not Madame Tussards (which is right down the street)

I probably shouldn't be thinking this, but looking at that Jessica Alba figure, I wonder how accurate the rest of her is...

...specifically, the "hind quarters"...
