Ok the fleet has reached Earth where they discover that it had been nuked over 2000 years ago. While exploring, they come across a Cylon Centurions' head, however, none of the human 'cylons' have never seen this particular model and all of the skeletal remains that have been discovered are those of the human cylon models.

Although they keep this discovery from the fleet, Dee Dualla (Apollo's ex-wife) goes on one last date with him, After they kiss good night, she goes in to the Officer's quarters and puts a bullet in her head committing suicide over this fact.

While on the planet's surface Saul Tigh walks in to the ocean in an attempt to kill himself where he discovers a piece of metal which appears to be a locker door from a train station and he remembers his previous incarnation from the civil war in which his wife Helen died stating .' Don't worry, we will be born again' Tigh realizes his wife was the Final and fifth Cylon they have been looking for.

In a previous season Saul poisoned his wife while on New Caprica because she was providing information to the Cylons about the underground resistance

OK we are down to 2 episodes left in this epic series, Earth was a nuclear cinder and we discovered that the cylons left it to establish the 12 Colonies so the human history is completely backwards , the final cylon was revealed to be Saul Tigh's wife Helen, evil 'Boomer' (Grace Park} has returned, kidnapping Helo and Sharon's (also Grace Park) child ( the human/cylon hybrid) and brought her to the 'evil' cylons where they intend to dissect her to find out why a human and cylon can pro-create. Oh, and the Galactica is now falling apart, literally, due to the fact that the contractors who built her cut corners on materials, plus the Galactica is 50 years old and they are about to abandon her to move to the Allied Cylon Baseship.
There still has been no explanation as to how Starbuck returned from the dead after her Viper exploded.

It has already been mentioned this series will not end on a happy note.
