I've seen this posted on a Trek site when it came out and you're right, it is very well done. I still get a lump in my throat in the scene of all the original crew together on the bridge surrounding Kirk. As he playfully jabs at Scotty, they fade away only to see old Scotty lift a drink in their honor.

The song 'The Inner Light' is available on iTunes on the Star Trek 30th Anniversary CD (which I am lucky enough own)

Great Video! I just wish they had included a fe shots of the NCC-1701-C from the episode where they had to fix the timeline (again)...
