Anybody else remember this classic? This has to be one of my all-time favorite Looney Tunes cartoons. It's the one where Bugs Bunny tries to get away from the evil scientist and the orange, sneaker-wearing monster. I remember watching this on Saturdays on channel 27 before watching an Abbott & Costello movie (and after three hours of Creature Double Feature fun on WLVI). Been trying to figure out what cartoon this was for years. I searched on YouTube before but could only find short clips of Bugs doing the hairdresser treatment on the monster (which is only a small paart of the whole cartoon). While it's a cartoon, I distinctly remember the eerie atmosphere the evil scientist's fortress (sitting over the waterfalls with its neon lights blinking) evoked. And I even thought the scientist himself was creepy, and found the monster to be scary. It was great to be a kid! Water, Water Every Hare: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLpOh2GSknECheck it out before it gets deleted from YouTube for copyright violations or whatever. At least now I know what it's called!

My favorite memory of this was seeing it on the big screen at Dartmouth around 1990-1991. They did a big Halloween screening called "Monsters On The Prowl" and ran a few old film clips (I seem to recall KING KONG and THE VALLEY OF GWANGI), along with this Bugs Bunny short, and TREMORS as the main feature. A heck of a lot of fun, and my first Looney Tunes big-screen experience.

Bugs Bunny rules!!! (Too bad the youtube video was removed!) Several years ago on Cartoon Network they had a marathon of Bugs Bunny cartoons (they called it June Bugs). When I found out about it, I threw a tape in the vcr and got 4 hours worth of Bugs Bunny, and that episode was on it!
