After a 20 year hiatus, I have decided to take up the violin again. (I played it a bit while in Germany) Ever hear a cat scream while it's in heat? That's what I sounded like when I played.

That's GREAT!!!  I play the cello, and like you, haven't had a chance to play in the last several years. (I had to sell my cello.) I studied over 10 years and attended the New England Conservatory in Boston. Good for you! Enjoy!

I had to give it up because, I was generally playing classic and modern instrumental stuff and this hick from Arkansas kept bugging me to play either Cotton Eyed Joe or Devil Went Down to Georgia
