This sort of qualifies as Movie Help ...
I'd like to see what the citizens of CDF think should be the 13 Films that would be the first class for a Horror Movie Hall of Fame. This is a topic we have discussed for a few years, and thought at this time of year, I'd ask CDFers their opinion.
Now, it would be more HORROR than Creature Feature, ... but I thought I'd ask anyway.
What movies are worthy of Hall of Fame status? List 3 or 6-7 or 10 or 13 (max). Only one rule, qualifying films must NOT have been released in the past 13 years.
I want to tally votes here and from some other people for an Unle POE's Horror Hall of Fame of sorts.
Look forward to seeing your input (consider them votes, so if everyone keeps listing the same film, that's a good thing!)
Happy October!

How about the first two Hellraiser movies? Admittedly, I am more of a (giant) monster movie fan than a pure horror movie fan-- if you split the genre into sub-categories. I can't even think of a new horror movie that I've seen in the last dozen or so years.

Aside from the movies we watched religiously on CDF, I would nominate the following 13 movies. In the past two weeks I've watched most of the movies again.
The Exorcist Night Of The Living Dead Suspira Dawn Of The Dead Halloween Psycho Frankenstein Island Of Lost Souls Rosemary's Baby Let's Scare Jessica To Death Let Sleeping Corpses Lie Phantasm Carnival Of Souls
In terms of just CDF movies shown on Ch 56,
The Amazing Colossal Man Godzilla Vs The Smog Monster Giant Majin Return of Giant Majin Valley of Gwangi The Killer Shrews War of the Gargantuas War of The Colossal Beast I Was a Teenage Werewolf King Kong vs. Godzilla
