Im trying to remember the name of this movie I seen when I was a kid on wlvi ch.56 ,Boston, Creature Double Feature, it was about this alien looking creature they found in a crumling wall I think it was a subway? I cant remember much more besides it turned into a great big flame looking creature and some guy was hanging off a rope or something swinging into it ...man I was scared of that for a couple of weeks.... covers over the head nights....its been about 10 years trying to remember that name ... my older sis thinks its 10,000,000 years to earth? I could'nt find it ....

Yup, I'd definitely think that's the movie. There are a few threads around here about "Five Million Years to Earth" (as it was known when aired on CDF). Many others were similarly frightened by this flick (myself included)! An excellent horror film that still holds up very well all after these years.
