Is anyone else excited about the new Wolfman movie? All my life I've been a major fan of the the Lon Chaney Jr. version, and always wondered if anyone would ever try to do a version that had the look and feel of that one. It looks like someone finally has. I wonder if this one is a success, will there be similar remakes of other Universal monsters that capture the look and feel of the originals? Can you imagine a honset to goodness remake of Frankenstein with a genuine Karloff look-alike in the same type of creepy castle?

I like the original Wolf Man movie except for them making Lon the son - instead of an old army buddy. That part makes zero sense, but it is covered in the DVDs making of.

I'm not sure if I remember that part about the Army buddy, I'll have to check that out, is it on the Legacy DVD? I think I watched that, but I can't remember.
THANKS
AJ

The trailer looks great! It's too bad they aren't releasing this in October but I'll be there in Feb on opening night.

Glad it's set in the past and not modern day, looking forward to it.

Gene Simmons is doing the Wolfman's voice over.
